WASHINGTON D.C. – Engineering and Technology firm, Acerra Technologies, Inc., was awarded 8(a) certification by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), as a economically disadvantaged woman-owned business.   The purpose of the 8(a) program is to assist eligible small disadvantaged businesses compete in the American economy through business development.  As such, 8(a) certification is an important step for minority and woman-owned businesses to introduce their products and services to the federal government.
